MDC Nepal offers various whole body checkup packages that include various diagnostic tests such as lipid profile, kidney function test, thyroid test, blood sugar test, urine analysis, complete blood count, liver function test, cholesterol test, vitamin D and B12 test, etc
The total number of tests may vary for each package but they monitor your major organs.
If your package includes a lipid profile and blood sugar test, you should fast for 8 to 12 hours.
● You should drink plenty of water overnight before taking the tests.
● You should also avoid drinking alcohol, smoking, or caffeine as they may influence the outcome of your tests.
● If you are already on medication, consult your provider before skipping your medicines.
● Wear breathable comfortable cotton clothes and avoid heavy physical exercises.
Typically, the whole body checkup at MDC Nepal takes around 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the package you chose and the number of tests it includes. The results are usually out within 24 hours. If your reports suggest an abnormality, you will be advised to do some additional tests to confirm the case.
